If the firm advises your organisation on the POSH Act 2013, you are welcome to display this badge on your website. It states that we are your advisers on the Act — it does not certify that your organisation is compliant, and it is written carefully so that it cannot be read that way.
For light-background sites. The usual choice for a footer or an “our advisers” strip.

</a>A badge that said your organisation was POSH compliant would be a statement about a continuing state of affairs that no adviser can guarantee from the outside. Compliance under this Act lapses quietly: the Presiding Officer and every member hold office for a period not exceeding three years under Section 4(3), and a committee constituted in a hurry expires without anyone noticing. A calendar year closes without the Committee's annual report under Section 21(1). A new office opens and the proviso to Section 4(1) requires a Committee there too.
So the badge states the one thing that is reliably true and verifiable: that this firm advises you on the Act. That is useful to a reader — a candidate, an auditor, a counterparty — without asserting anything the firm cannot stand behind.
It is also why the badge carries no date. A dated seal implies currency it cannot maintain; a relationship statement is either true today or it should come down. The underlying obligations are set out on the POSH compliance page, and you can test your own position with the compliance health check.
Display it while an engagement with the firm on POSH work is running. Nothing is charged for the badge and it is not available to buy.
Use the artwork as supplied. Resize freely — it is SVG — but do not recolour, crop, add text, or rebuild it.
The link points to our POSH compliance page and the alt text names the firm. Please do not substitute keyword link text; a badge distributed with keyword-stuffed links is treated as a link scheme and we will not ask a client to place one.
The badge says we advise you on the Act. It does not say you are compliant, and it must not be captioned, described or positioned as if it did.
Footer, advisers or governance page, HR policy page, careers page. Not on product, pricing or checkout pages, where it would read as endorsing a transaction.
The badge states a present relationship. We will tell you when an engagement closes.
Companies currently engaged with the firm on POSH work — a compliance retainer, an external member seat on the Internal Committee, a training programme, or annual reporting support. It is not open to the public, it is not sold, and nothing is charged for it. If you are not sure whether your engagement covers it, ask us before putting it up.
No, and it is deliberately not worded that way. The badge says "POSH Advisory" — it states that the firm advises your organisation on the POSH Act 2013. It does not state, and must not be presented as stating, that your organisation is compliant with the Act. Compliance is a continuing state that depends on facts we do not control: a Committee lapses when the three-year tenure in Section 4(3) expires, a calendar year passes without the Section 21 report, an office opens without a Committee under the proviso to Section 4(1). No adviser can vouch for that on a fixed image.
Because that is what the badge honestly is — a statement of who advises you. The alt text reads "POSH Advisory by Unified Chambers and Associates", which is a factual brand citation. Badges distributed with keyword-stuffed link text are treated by search engines as a link scheme, and we will not ask a client to place one. Please do not alter the link, the alt text or the artwork.
When the engagement ends. The badge states a present relationship, so it should not outlive the retainer. We will tell you when an engagement closes; if you would rather set your own reminder, tie it to your retainer renewal date. If you take it down and later re-engage, simply put it back.
Resize freely — the badges are SVG, so they stay sharp at any size, and the two colourways are there so you can pick the one that sits properly on a light or a dark page. Please do not recolour the artwork, crop it, add text to it, or place it in a way that implies endorsement of a product or a transaction. If neither colourway works with your design, write to us and we will prepare one that does.
Wherever the statement is true and useful to a reader — commonly the footer, an "advisers" or "governance" page, the HR policy page, or a careers page where candidates look for evidence that the workplace takes the Act seriously. It does not belong on a product page, a pricing page or a checkout, where it would read as a commercial endorsement rather than a statement about legal advisers.
The badge follows the engagement, not the other way round. If you would like the firm to advise your organisation on POSH compliance — constituting committees, the external member seat, training, or annual reporting — start there.
This page is general information about the firm's client badge and the POSH Act 2013. It is not legal advice, and no advocate–client relationship arises from reading it or from displaying the badge.
